NA® SHAPE consists of a synergistic blend of clinically proven extracts of pomelo, grapefruit, orange and guarana and a clinically proven hydrolysate of yeast protein. The effect of the polyphenols in Sinetrol® is that they mimic the change in phenotype of fat cells from white to beige, i.e. from a category of fat cells that store fat to a category of fat cells that control energy metabolism. This effect of polyphenols on lipolysis prevents further storage of fat in the adipose tissue. The patented ingredient DNF-10® is an active fraction obtained after protein hydrolysis of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a type of yeast that has been used for thousands of years in the production of baked goods, fermented foods and beverages. The production of DNF-10® involves enzymatic proteolysis and a selection of peptides with a molecular weight <10 kDa after an ultrafiltration step. The material is then spray-dried to obtain a dried powder.
